How is Enua combatting the threat from competitors?
Imports from Colombia, Uruguay, South Africa, Malta, North Macedonia, and Spain increased in 2024, while Australia, Austria, Lesotho, New Zealand, the UK, and Israel saw declines. New suppliers Argentina (55 kg) and the Czech Republic (847 kg) entered the market, but Uganda, Poland, Ecuador, Switzerland, and St. Vincent/Grenadines ceased exports to Germany.
How is Enua combatting the threat from competitors?
The MedCanG Act has boosted demand, suggesting further import growth. However, the removal of domestic cultivation restrictions may shift some market share to local producers, though the impact remains uncertain, especially as Portugal, Spain, and North Macedonia ramp up production with lower costs.
